MPMM to Capture G-D Roadshow at Harold’s Corral for inclusion in Mogollon Commemorative 30th Anniversary Video

Memories Preservation MultiMedia is scheduled to capture video of the G-D Road Show (George Brunson and Duane Moore) for inclusion in their Commemorative 30th Anniversary Music Video celebrating 30 years of music together. George and Duane are scheduled to perform at Harold’s Cave Creek Corral in Cave Creek, Arizona on Thursday, May 8th starting at 8:00 p.m.

George and Duane do a duo act with acoustic guitars and fiddles, mainly playing at bars, family reunions, BBQ’s and more.

They started over 25 years ago at the Punkin Center Store in… Punkin Center, AZ. The store had a bar in it at the time. Anyway, they were campin’ and fishin’ at Roosevelt Lake and decided to head into the metropolis of Punkin Center for a beer.

When they arrived, the bar keep recognized George and asked if they had guitars with ‘em. They did and hardly go any place without ‘em. So out to their Jeep, grabbed their guitars, came back in, sat on some stools and commenced to pickin’ and grinnin’.

There were 7 or 8 folks in the bar when they started. The bartender told ‘em they could drink beer for free… as long as they played. What an invite! So, they played songs they normally played as Mogollon, sang songs they wrote about the area, fishin’, campin’, and more.

They played fiddles, told jokes, laughed and had a blast! By the time the Hamm’s Beer clock said it was closing time, the place was standing room only! Folks were dancin’, singin’ along and havin’ a good ‘ol small town good time.

Since then, George and Duane booked over a dozen shows a year as the G-D RoadShow.

So make plans to see them, it’s a hoot!!

Playing music was a good way for a few high school buddies to impress the girls and to combat the boredom of a small town. After a few performances around the area, people agreed this “hobby” of theirs had potential to become more. And they were right!

Today, Mogollon has earned the reputation as one of the Premier Country Rock Entertainment groups in the West and continues to keep their high standard. Their scope of performing ability is truly amazing! They can play about anything, from Hank Williams to Pink Floyd to their original written songs.

With great vocals, incredible guitar wizardry, dueling fiddles and a high energy stage show, Mogollon has left people of all ages and all musical tastes wanting more!

Mogollon’s been playing now for 30 years and to commemorate this event Memories Preservation MultiMedia in association with Mogollon, Inc. are assembling a 30th Anniversary Music Video DVD.
